Visiting Clubs and Partner Organizations at the Midwest Youth Cup

The Midwest Youth Cup welcomes visiting clubs across the Midwest and beyond. This section is a reference for clubs and league organizations considering the tournament, with notes on partner alignment, sanctioning, and standard expectations.

Sanctioning and rules alignment

The Cup operates under standard U.S. Youth Soccer event rules with modifications for tournament play. The tournament's weather policy is aligned with U.S. Soccer Federation guidance and local league standards including YSSL and IWSL.

Both U.S. Youth Soccer and U.S. Club Soccer sanctioned teams are welcome.

  • Registration is processed centrally through GotSport.
  • Multi-team discounts apply at ten or more teams across the club.
  • Hotel block opens March 12, 2027 with the final schedule.
  • Stay-to-play is required for teams more than 90 miles from the complex.

Does the Midwest Youth Cup partner with leagues?

The Cup aligns its weather and competition policies with U.S. Soccer Federation guidance and with the standards of Illinois Youth Soccer leagues including YSSL and IWSL. Formal league partnerships will be announced as the tournament matures.

Is the Cup affiliated with U.S. Club Soccer or U.S. Youth Soccer?

Can clubs from outside Illinois enter?

Yes. Clubs from Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, and beyond are welcome. Teams traveling more than 90 miles must book through the official hotel block.
