A Tournament
Built for the Game.

Three days of competitive youth soccer for boys and girls U8 through U15 at the premier Wintrust Crossroads complex in New Lenox, Illinois.

Welcome to the 2027 Midwest Youth Cup. The tournament takes place March 19 to 21, 2027 at the Wintrust Crossroads Sports Complex in New Lenox, Illinois, one of the premier athletic facilities in the Midwest.

What the Cup is

The Midwest Youth Cup offers competition for U8 through U15 boys and girls, with multiple divisions in each age group to ensure the best possible competitive balance. Every team is guaranteed three games over the weekend. The event is capped at 250 teams to keep the schedule clean, the brackets meaningful, and the facility experience genuinely great.

Who runs it

The Midwest Youth Cup is operated by Billings Football Club LLC, founded and directed by Gabe Billings, a long-time competitive coach and youth soccer organizer. Every operational choice (bracket construction, scheduling, field assignments, weather decisions) is made by someone who has spent a couple decades inside travel-team weekends.

Tournament principles

  • Competitive balance over volume. Multiple divisions per age group. Teams play opponents at their level.
  • One complex, no shuttling. Every match is at Wintrust Crossroads. Coaches can scout future opponents without driving across town.
  • All turf, all lights. March weather does not stop the schedule. Stoppages only for genuinely hazardous conditions.
  • GotSport-only check-in. No on-site clipboards. Coaches arrive, warm up, kick off.
  • Stay-to-play (over 90 miles). Teams traveling from more than 90 miles book hotels through the official block.

Check-in and documentation

There will be NO on-site check-in. All check-in is completed online through GotSport. Document upload deadline is 2027-03-12. Final schedules are posted the same day.

Local teams may be scheduled to play their first game on Friday as early as Friday 5:30 PM. Plan player release time accordingly.

Weather

The Midwest Youth Cup's weather guidelines are aligned with best practices recommended by U.S. Soccer Federation and with local league standards including YSSL and IWSL. All decisions related to weather and game adjustments are made at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

All games are scheduled on artificial turf, meaning no rainouts. Stoppages may still occur in the event of hazardous conditions such as lightning, thunder, or extreme temperatures. Tournament weather updates are communicated via email and SMS through your GotSport account. Keep contact information current.

Get registered

Registration is open on GotSport. The deadline is 2027-03-01. Multi-team discounts are available for clubs entering ten or more teams. Contact the director to confirm the current rate before submitting.
